Located at the heart of midtown Manhattan is the ever-exciting Rockefeller Center, famous for the enormous Christmas tree it displays every winter and its wide array of indoor and outdoor attractions. This New York City landmark consists of 19 buildings located between 48th and 51st Streets, and it is home to Radio City Music Hall, the Top of the Rock observation deck, an ice rink, NBC Studios, and countless opportunities for shopping and dining.

Construction for the complex began in 1933, commissioned by John D. Rockefeller Jr., son of the then-richest man in America. In the 90 years since, Rockefeller Center has been expanded, renovated, and has changed hands; in 2020, the current owners, real estate firm Tishman Speyer, announced a complete revamp of Rockefeller Plaza and some surrounding areas.
