Written by Admin | Mar 10, 2025 9:13:26 PM

As night falls, Times Square comes alive with dazzling lights. Just one mile from the Concorde Hotel—only a 20-minute walk—you can immerse yourself in Broadway shows, vibrant nightlife, and late-night shopping. From world-class entertainment to cozy cocktail lounges, Times Square is the perfect place for an unforgettable night in the city.

Midnight Moment

Stay up late and head to Times Square just before midnight. One of its best attractions is the Midnight Moment. It is the world’s longest-running and largest digital art program. The 92 digital displays are all synchronized to display an art show from 11:57 to 12 am nightly. The show spans from 41st to 49th street. This epic show takes place 364 nights a year. Running since 2012, this art program has featured over 100 artists.

Take a Yoga Class

Do something for yourself by taking a yoga class in the middle of Times Square. Called Solstice in Times Square: Mind Over Madness Yoga, everyone is invited throughout the month of June to get in touch with their inner peace. From first-timers to experienced yogis, there is a free class that is perfect for your skill level. Classes occur throughout the day and night on the Broadway pedestrian plazas.

Take A Horse and Carriage Ride

Everyone who visits New York City looks forward to a horse and carriage ride in Central Park. However, you can also take a carriage ride through Times Square. Relax in your private carriage as you take in Times Square's lights, sounds, and energy. Make the tour what you want it to be. It could be an intimate affair where you and your significant other enjoy the moment together. Or, it could be an interactive experience where your carriage driver will act as a tour guide. They can give you a unique experience by pointing out attractions and telling you stories.

Go Shopping

There are plenty of stores to visit if you enjoy shopping. With multiple national brands choosing Times Square for their flagship stores, you can find unique product offerings and experiences. Due to Times Square never shutting down, many stores are open until late into the evening. Pick up some iconic “I Love NY” souvenirs. Celebrate an all-American tradition with Yankees gear.

Some of the best stores to visit in Times Square are the Disney, Hershey’s Chocolate World, and M&M World stores. Visitors, young and old, will enjoy exploring these retail wonderlands. Hershey’s and M&M's are true chocolate wonderlands full of sweet candy to delight your sweet tooth.

See a Broadway Show

  • Catching a Broadway show is a must when in Times Square. For centuries, Broadway has been the heart of American theater, home to world-class productions and legendary performances. The Theater District boasts 40 professional theaters with nightly shows, offering everything from modern spins on Shakespeare to Disney-inspired musicals. No matter your taste, there's always something worth seeing.

  • The Lion King
  • The Book of Mormon
  • Aladdin
  • Hamilton
  • Romeo + Juliet

Dine on Restaurant Row

The iconic Restaurant Row is located near Broadway on West 46th Street between 8th and 9th Ave. Over 20 restaurants call this street home, including New York City’s oldest Italian restaurant, Barbetta. This street of restaurants has become an institution thanks to its proximity to Broadway. Showgoers would enjoy a meal before heading to a show. Today, many of the restaurants serve a special pre-theater prix-fixe menu to ensure showgoers get to their show on time. You will find cuisines from all over the world, including Italian, Japanese, and French.

Locate subway speakeasy Nothing Really Matters

Do something a little different and check out the coolest speakeasy in New York. The Nothing Really Matters speakeasy is hidden on the 50th subway station. Between the entrance and turnstiles, you will find this hidden-away bar. The outside looks like an old-school barbershop and newsstand. The inside is a dark and dreamy-looking bar serving up signature cocktail creations. The snacks menu is an interesting mix of Flaming Hot Cheetos, olives, and caviar. The speakeasy’s owners have also opened See No Evil Pizza next door. Nibble on delicious pizza, chicken wings, whipped ricotta, or a fresh salad.

Sip Cocktails at a Bar

Spend a night out on the town sipping cocktails at one of the bars in Times Square. Head to the Rum House to listen to the best music from the Jazz Age. While you are there, try one of their famous daiquiris. Stop by Sardi’s and the Theater District and check out the famous caricatures covering the walls. Have an authentic izakaya experience at Sake Bar Hagi. This place is a local favorite and brings old-school Tokyo vibes, with Japanese movie posters covering the walls.

Times Square doesn’t slow down when the sun sets, in fact, that’s when the real magic happens. Maybe your night starts with a Broadway show, leads to a hidden speakeasy, or turns into a late-night shopping spree.
